Tissot factory service
Tissot offers three service levels. A Light Service covers minor work for a minimum labor fee and carries no service warranty. A Partial Service keeps the watch clean and water resistant, including a battery for quartz models and new gaskets. A Complete Service is a full movement overhaul. Tissot's published US prices for a Complete Service run from $130 for a quartz watch to $310 for a mechanical chronograph. Tissot gives a 24-month warranty on each intervention. New watches carry a 24-month warranty, activated by an official Tissot dealer.
Independent Tissot service
Tissot's warranty does not cover a watch handled by non-authorized people, including for a battery change. Tissot is a Swatch Group brand, and since January 1, 2016 the group has supplied spare parts only to repairers it has approved for a parts account. For an out-of-warranty Tissot, compare an independent's quote with Tissot's published price, and ask how the shop sources parts.
