Chronotek is an independent watch workshop at 123 East Broad Street in Souderton, Pennsylvania, founded in 1999 by Michael and Karen Scriniere. It services modern and vintage Swiss and American watches and takes on restoration work, including dial restoration and making parts. Chronotek says it services most watches in its own workshop and sends a small number of complicated pieces, such as perpetual calendars, back to the brand.

Confirmed by the brands: Baume & Mercier lists Chronotek as a service center, IWC Schaffhausen lists it as an authorized service center, Jaeger-LeCoultre lists it as an official repairer, and Montblanc names it among its US authorized repair locations for watches.

Also works on: Chronotek says it also services Panerai, Cartier, Sinn, Omega, Hamilton, Tissot, Rado, Longines, TAG Heuer and Rolex.

Warranty: According to Chronotek, 2 years on any complete service where the gaskets are replaced, 1 year on the running of vintage watches, and 2 years on water resistance after a water-resistance renewal service.

Walk-in or mail-in: Walk in Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, or mail your watch. Chronotek says much of its work arrives by mail.

Parts and your instructions: Chronotek says it uses genuine factory parts and tells you if it cannot get them, so you can decide whether to go ahead. Requests such as no refinishing are written on the estimate.
