Breguet service in the US runs through the brand's own network, with a small number of independent watchmakers qualified to handle it.

Breguet factory service

Breguet asks owners to take watches to a Breguet boutique, a Tourbillon boutique, an official retailer, or one of its recommended service centers. It specifically advises against mailing a watch to Montres Breguet in Switzerland, citing the risk of theft, damage and customs problems. Breguet does not sell spare parts to owners directly.

Independent Breguet service

Breguet is a Swatch Group brand, and since January 1, 2016 the group has supplied spare parts only to repairers it has approved for a parts account. That makes independents most useful for routine work on older pieces, and for vintage Breguets that need a restorer's judgement rather than part swaps.

Vintage and antique Breguets

For antique watches signed Breguet, the Breguet Museum can check the brand's historical sales registers, which date back to the late 18th century. If the watch is authenticated, you can buy an official certificate signed by the Breguet Archives. It is worth doing before a major restoration.
