The Jewelry Center
The Jewelry Center's Greenfield store has the group's only on-site watchmaker, for basic repairs and batteries; advanced work goes to its Brookfield workshop.
The Jewelry Center has served the Milwaukee area since 2003 and now runs four stores. Its Greenfield location in Layton Plaza is the only one with a watchmaker on site, which makes it the place to go if you want a basic repair handled without the watch leaving the store.
Servicing your watch here. The Greenfield watchmaker handles battery changes, usually while you wait, and other basic repairs. For overhauls and other advanced work, the store sends the watch to its sister workshop, Watch Repair Professionals in Brookfield. Ask for a written estimate and how long the watch will be away before you leave it.
Brands. The store names Citizen, Seiko, Movado, Omega, Gucci and Swiss Army among the brands it works on. No watch manufacturer lists it as an authorized service center, so check the maker's terms first on a watch still under warranty.
