Throckmorton's Watches & Jewelry
Austin watch store founded by master watchmaker David Throckmorton, doing quartz and mechanical service in house with factory parts.
Throckmorton's Watches & Jewelry has served Austin for nearly 45 years from 5716 West US Highway 290, Suite 112. It was founded by master watchmaker David Throckmorton, who it says still services its automatic watches. It says all work is done in house by qualified watchmakers, that mechanical service is done exclusively in house using factory parts, and that an AWCI certified master watchmaker handles high-end mechanical watches (self-stated, not named). It lists batteries, crystals, quartz service, movement replacement, mechanical service and bands. It carries Oris and Tissot and claims no service authorization.
How to bring your watch: Walk in Monday to Friday 10am to 5:30pm or Saturday 11am to 4pm; watchmaker hours are Tuesday to Saturday.
