Springer's Jewelers' store at 100 Market Street in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, houses the company's Rolex workshop. Springer's says a Rolex watchmaker works on site here. Minor repairs such as crystals, gaskets, hands and movements are done in house (up to about three weeks); other repairs are shipped to the manufacturer or an authorized service center (Springer's quotes 8 to 16 weeks and a $50 non-refundable shipping charge).

Confirmed by the manufacturer: Rolex lists the Portsmouth store as a Rolex service center. Tudor watches are serviced through the Rolex network.

How to bring your watch: By appointment in store; batteries and strap adjustments are done while you wait. Springer's lists hours of Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 5pm. Springer's also has stores in Portland and Bath, Maine.
