Sotheby's Watch Services is the auction house's mail-in watch servicing platform, launched in March 2025 with the servicing platform WatchCheck. Sotheby's does not do the repairs itself. According to National Jeweler, watches are evaluated and serviced by Stoll & Co., an independent service centre in Dayton, Ohio, which has its own listing in this directory.

Brands serviced: A catalogue of more than 38,000 models, including Rolex, Omega, Patek Philippe and Cartier, plus many vintage and contemporary brands.

What we do: Full service, case refinishing and restoration for modern and vintage watches. The service quotes turnarounds of about 8 to 12 weeks for modern mechanical, 5 weeks for quartz and 10 to 14 weeks for vintage. It offers a two-year warranty on service. Complex or vintage pieces may need a two-step estimate with a deposit.

How we collect your watch: Choose your model and service online. Sotheby's sends a protective shipping kit and arranges an insured FedEx pickup and return. There is no public drop-off location. Contact: concierge@watchservices.sothebys.com.
