Precision Watch Works
Boston watchmaker in the Jewelers Exchange Building servicing and restoring vintage and modern wrist and pocket watches by appointment, with mail-in.
Precision Watch Works is in Suite 421A of the Jewelers Exchange Building at 333 Washington Street in downtown Boston. Its watchmaker, Nicholas P. Trahadias II, says he is a graduate of the Joseph Bulova School of Watchmaking and of WOSTEP in Switzerland, with later Omega and Breitling training. The shop services, repairs and restores vintage and current wristwatches, pocket watches and chronographs, including Longines, Omega, Rolex and TAG Heuer, and makes parts for vintage pieces. It says it has parts accounts with many brands. Every watch is evaluated in the shop before an estimate, usually within about five working days; complex repair estimates start at $200, applied to the repair if approved. Modern repairs generally take 4 to 6 weeks.
How to bring your watch: By appointment only, Tuesday to Friday 10:30am to 5pm. Call to schedule a time to drop off your watch or mail it to the shop.
