OmegaAddict

OmegaAddict is a vintage Omega specialist in Phoenix, Arizona, run by watchmaker Tim Mackrain, who also trades as Vortex Time Company. He says he does the work himself, focusing on Omega watches from the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s such as the Seamaster and Constellation, and sources original Omega parts from his own collection. OmegaAddict is an independent business and is not affiliated with Omega.

What we do: Vintage Omega service, repair and restoration. The shop says each service includes full disassembly, cleaning and oiling of the movement, reassembly with correct original parts, a new gasket, and timing on a timing machine. It states a one-year warranty on watches it services, covering labor (parts and return shipping charged). Collectors on Omega Forums praise the work and communication; some note that cases are often polished, so say so up front if you want the original finish kept.

How to bring your watch: By mail, after contacting Tim first and including the shipping form from the website. He asks for USPS Priority with signature confirmation, not UPS. Visits are by appointment only; call ahead (calls answered 8am to 6pm Arizona time, no voicemail).
