House of Time is a family watch workshop at 712 NW 23rd Avenue in Gainesville, Florida, in business since 1968. Its watchmakers service, restore and adjust watches on site, including vintage wristwatches and pocket watches, and make parts for obsolete movements. House of Time says it does not send watches on to brand service centers; when a job is outside what it does on site, it refers you elsewhere.

Confirmed by the manufacturers: Baume & Mercier lists House of Time as a service center, IWC Schaffhausen lists it as an authorized service center, and Jaeger-LeCoultre lists it as an official repairer.

Confirmed by WOSTEP: WOSTEP in Neuchâtel confirmed to us in October 2026 that watchmaker Michal Blaszczyk completed its refresher course (2010), its Train the Trainer course (2015) and its three-week polishing course (2016). These are WOSTEP training courses, not a brand authorization.

Stated by House of Time: House of Time says it also services Omega, Rolex, Tudor, Cartier, Panerai, Montblanc and Breitling, and that it buys modern parts directly from the brands through spare-parts accounts.

Warranty: 2 years on modern repairs and 1 year on vintage restorations, according to House of Time.

How to bring your watch: Walk in Thursday to Saturday, 10am to 6pm, or mail your watch. House of Time prefers walk-in visits so it can diagnose the watch in front of you and show photos and examples of its work.

Your instructions: House of Time says it follows requests such as no polishing or keeping the original dial, unless a part is functionally damaged or the request conflicts with brand policy, for example a request to use non-original parts.
